Drawings, that is what I do. Everything traditional here is handdrawn and I am experimenting with digital. My perception influences what I draw - I don't have copies, only interpretations. Many of my pictures just spring out of my imagination and there are at most references. Many others are a voyage into the original or the reference. Trying to feel and sense their essence and to get close to it. Sometimes I fight for it. Sometimes really hard. Sometimes I look at the outcome and am simply baffled that it was me who has done that. Incredulous.
So thank you to all the models and photographers offering their work so that we can do ours, you are stunning and without you, much of what we do would be impossible.
